Track Name: Never Said Goodbye
NEVER SAID GOODBYE

Another airport, another plane ride,
all the way home.
Another hole in my shoe, a needle and thread,
An hour to loose.
Am I as tired as I seem,
Am I floating on dreams that almost come true?
Looks like I’m going nowhere,
With burnt ground and heat, at 40 degrees.

Just turn this day round,
I need more time.
I never finished what I’d begun,
and I never said goodbye,
I never said goodbye.

I’m floating on sleeplessness,
Running on restlessness, tired-eyed.
On this journey through loneliness,
I'm feeling this helplessness miles from the ground.
I left in a rush, as usual, as I always do...

Just turn this plane round,
I need more time.
I never finished what I’d begun,
And I never said goodbye.
I wish I’d said goodbye.

But there’s always you,
there’s always you in my mind.

Another shadow that I crawl into,
hiding in vain.
Cos the sea keeps on breathing,
With or without me, with or without me.

Just turn this plane round,
I need more time.
I never finished what I’d begun,
And I never said goodbye.

Just slow this time down,
I’m too far behind.
And as it keeps spinning fast around me,
I wish I’d said goodbye,
I just wish I’d said goodbye.
Track Name: Mama Kita
Mama Kita

Mama, I hear the call in every stone,
Your ancient pulse drums me home.
Father, our love's as timeless as the tree's
Your gentle way shines down on me.

Mama Kita Ma Khaya..

Gogo, I saw the red earth of your land,
It wakes me and shakes me, takes hold of my hand.
And here I stand with a quest on my heart,
I'm here to heal my ancestors song,
I'm here to find out where I come from...

Mama Kita Ma Khaya..

The whispering wind says to follow it,
My aching heart say's
'Drop everything - return to the fire'
I love this ground so tenderly.

Mama Kita Ma Khaya..

Mpe pelekeqe sigubhu siyavuma,
Liyakubiza ikhaya lakho.
Umama ulindile, umhilo ubaziwe.
Umama Kita uyalilizela
Waqhumisa mpepho umkhula
UMama Kita ikhaya lami.

Bavuma phezulu,
Lavuma Izulu,
Zavuma Izangoma,
Savuma,
Ngavuma
Track Name: Better Next Time
BETTER NEXT TIME

I can't find my words, I can't find my page
Any blank one's filled up hours ago
I make it cold in here I think I should go.
I can't see my love, although I know
he now sleeps in a hotel 10 miles away
But dawn comes soon and he'll fly away.

I think I've got something I really need to say
I just don't know which direction I should go

So come back my words, Come back my song
Come back my faith when I knew I belonged
Come back my peace that I can rest on
I'll treat you better next time.

I can't see my love, although I know
he now sits in a cafe 5 miles away
And if I don't come soon he'll walk away.

I think I've got something I really need to say
I just don't know which direction I should go.

So come back my words, Come back my song
Come back my faith when I knew I belonged
Come back my peace that I can rest on
I'll treat you better next time.

I'm searching pages I know that I can't hide
Am I just fighting the silence in my mind

So come back my words, Come back my song
Come back my faith when I knew I belonged
Come back my peace that I can rest on
Come back my lesson that I learnt all along
Come back my friend, oh angel of mine
As I know that left you behind
Come back my truth that I know makes me shine...
I'll treat you better next time.
Track Name: Perfectly Cast
Perfectly Cast

What an unfolding world,
what a beautiful life.
I just must have done something so right in my last.
We all have our ghosts
and our ties to the past.
But we've just got remember the die is perfectly...

It's perfectly cast
It's perfectly cast.

What a beautiful face
as the sun caught your eyes.
You just must have something so right from the start.
I can see it in your palm,
I can see it in your stars.
Thank you for remembering that it's perfectly...

It's perfectly cast
It's perfectly cast.

We all have our ghosts
and our ties from the past.
And there's time I've been lost
and so alone in the dark.
But something of a whisper
guides me back to my path.
And I pray to remember that it's perfectly,
somehow...

It's perfectly cast
Track Name: Wild Winds
WILD WINDS

Choices today my love, heavy choices on my mind.
the thought we might end our story
is burning up my skies

But I have these choices I'm carrying round
As these grey skies won't give in.
Could we really be something?
look at the state I'm in.. look at the state i'm in.

Oh will you tell me,
what does the your wild wind say?
As I know she speaks to you fondly
as you lie miles, you're miles away.
And if you must let me down gently
for fear my heart will over ride.
Wild winds of wisdom
what do our cards say?
Should I go or stay or go or stay or go to him?

Oh will you tell me
what does your river say?
As I know she sings to you softly
As you lie miles, your miles away.
And if you must let me down gently
for fear my heart will over ride.
Wild winds of wisdom
What do our cards say?
Should I go or stay or go or stay or go to him?

I falter here
at which page to open.
As I feel you call me in the dream waking.
I lay this down here -
No place but surrender.
As my soul resides here,
Not with the redwood tree's.

Wild winds of wisdom
what do our cards say?
What does our fate say?
Should I go or stay or go or stay or go to him?

Choices today my love,
heavy choices on my mind.
the thought we might end our story
is burning up my skies...
Track Name: Tiny Universe
Tiny Universe

Let’s tear it down slowly,
And meet the truth of you and I.
It’s warm and late, but i’m not sleeping
I’m watching every moment live and then die
As a tiny universe unfolds from your eyes.

I don’t need to hear that we’re lone soldiers
As I know in truth we never can be.
Drink these tears flowing through me
As they are born from both you and I
As all the grief and praise unfolds from your eyes.

I’m watching every moment live and then die
As a tiny universe unfolds from your eyes.

I lay my shied by the doorway
And I see my fear lie sleeping.
I feel the warmth of this life burning through me
As we are born in blood and stars
and those that walk before echo from our eyes,

I’m watching every moment live and then die
As a tiny universe unfolds from your eyes.
Track Name: Sweet Oak Tree
Sweet Oak Tree

I remember when you and me,
climbed in the boughs of that sweet oak tree.
You kissed patterns on my skin,
Couldn't tell us apart from the branches that we lay in,
from the branches that we lay in.

And this sweet oak tree and I sing a gentle song
Please come home before the last leaves have fallen down
Fallen down.

I remember when you and me,
journeyed down to the Cornish sea.
We slept by crashing shores,
now that you're gone, I can still hear Cot Valley roar,
I can still hear the way she roars.

And this sweet oak tree and I sing a gentle song,
please come home before too long.
This sweet oak tree and I sing a gentle song,
please come home before the last leaves have fallen down
Fallen down.

Fallen down…

Amber deserts and turquoise skies
The deep pull of your scorpio eyes,
My green eyes miss you so.
Over sea's to foreign lands
to work a season for money in hand,
My green eyes miss you so.
My green eyes - they miss you so.

And this sweet oak tree and I sing a gentle song,
please come home before the last leaves have fallen down
Fallen down...
Track Name: Glory Box
I'm so tired, of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play
For I've been a temptress too long

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be, a woman
I just want to be a woman

From this time, unchained
We're all looking at a different picture
Through this new frame of mind
A thousand flowers could bloom
Move over, and give us some room

So don't you stop, being a man
Just take a little look from our side when you can
Sow a little tenderness
No matter if you cry

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be, a woman
I just want to be a woman.
Track Name: Water Song
WATER SONG

I'm in the wild lands of Ireland,
An old ancient town.
Where our Grandfather's would have drunk fresh from the well.
I'm sitting here quietly by the river shore,
but I hear the clear song of sorrow coming from the river floor.
I talked to a local man who dropped me off here,
he said,
"You can't drink or swim in any water round here no more,
No you can't drink or swim in any water round here no more".

It looked from a distance like a paradise place,
To soak in precious summer sun, splash water on my face.
But now that I'm closer the sad river ghosts appear,
And all the dead confused fish with their chemical tears,
They say,
"Don't dare drink or swim in any water round here no more."

Well where do you come from,
And where would you flee?
If we kill all the sweet water and there's just dead salty sea?
And would we then fight for it, coz how would you survive,
At what point would we notice all the river's had died?
When you can't drink or swim in any water in this world no more?

I make a prayer and I sing for all the water in this world,
I will protect you,
May I somehow not forsake you.
I fell asleep at the wheel,
I got severed from truth
but I hope I'm waking up in time...
I hope I'm waking up in time.

Don't we know this yet?
Earth is our body, As water's our blood.

The virus of our greed is now reaching the edge.
If we're not so careful they'll be no wild places left.
Grandfather warns us of the red in the sky,
If we keep on consuming with our insane denial.
I don't mean to sound tragic,
I don't mean to bring you down,
But there are oceans of tears to be cried for the waste of this land.

Where do you come from, And where would you flee?
If we kill all the sweet water and there's just angry dead sea?
How would we ever grieve this, Oh I need to hear you cry,
At what point would you notice all the river's had died?
Who would tell our children, what on earth would we say,
"No you can't drink or swim in any water in this world no more?"

So I make a prayer and I stand for all the water in this world -
I will protect you,
May I somehow not forsake you.
I fell asleep at the wheel, I got severed from truth
but I pray we're waking up in time...
I pray we're waking up in time.

Don't we know this yet?
Earth is our body, As Water's our blood.
Don't we know this yet?
Earth is our body, as water's our blood.
And I know this now,
Earth is my body, as water's my blood.
Track Name: Thousand Days
Thousand days

I must have lived a thousand days like this before.
As side to side, I'm haunted as my choices see-saw.
All consumed, I am being eaten whole,
By a hungry mind that's forever tugging at my soul.

All you wild horses gather round,
My spirits free never bound,
I've come way too far to turn back now.
We’ve come way too far to turn back now.

It seems to me
Like I've been seeking this for years.
A way to stand truthfully in my grace and in my tears.
I'm growing roots
help me put them down,
In a place that's green,
As concrete is the cancer of our towns.

All you wild voices gather round
Our spirits free never bound.

I adore this, this sacred ground
I was born too this tender land.
And we all have a choice to be present and kind this time round.
As we've all gathered here,
we've gathered together somehow.
And we've come way too far to turn back now!

I adore this, this sacred ground
we’ve come way too far to turn back now,
I was born too this tender land.
I adore this sacred ground.
Track Name: Unfolds
UNFOLDS -

It all unfolds
in the end,
I’ll just bide my time and trust.
I'll be here,
halfway up the stairs,
I've some healing to do with you.

We've come undone
peacefully,
but what a sad, sad song to be sung.
We coiled and grew,
Shared and mended
Like no other I've known.

And this song's for you,
Always for you.

I loved you more than I ever said,
I think of you as a precious song in my head.
I thank you for the grace of your way,
I sing out my heart
As it's sometimes so hard to say,
…It's so hard to say.

This songs for you,
Always for you
My love for you.

Soul to soul. Soul to soul.

So it all unfolds
in the end
Please just bide your time and trust.
